HOW YOU GET PAID
Independent agents here are independent contractors — you own your commissions, your clients, and your business. Here's exactly how the money works.
CAREER TRACK

CARRIER COMP GRID
Official Lasting Mark compensation grid — first-year commission percentage of annual premium, by contract level and carrier. Rev. Apr 2026.
Life insurance pays first-year commissions on every policy, plus renewals. Final Expense agents earn on a product families budget for — low lapse rates, consistent renewals, predictable income. Commission rates range from 63–145% of annual premium depending on your contract level and carrier.
Your contract level determines your commission percentage. New agents start as Representative — the starting point — and advance based on monthly issued/paid premium. Three consecutive months at the required level earns a promotion. You move through the Advisor Track first, then Management, then Executive.
Lasting Mark is the IMO that holds our carrier contracts. The comp you access through Lasting Mark is higher than going direct. You benefit from the collective production of the entire network.
As you build a team, you earn an override on your downline. The Management and Executive tracks unlock agency production thresholds and higher comp. The 50% Max Ruleapplies: if one direct downline exceeds 50% of your hierarchy's production, you get 50% credit for that block.
Commissions are paid directly by the carriers — not through True Wealth. Most carriers pay within a few days of policy approval.
